Gratuities

In order to provide exceptional guest service across all floors of the restaurant and bars, a large amount of our staff members are involved in the daily chain of service and in turn are included in the tip pool.

At Perch, 100% of customer gratuities are collected into a tip pool that includes hourly employees who contribute to the chain of service for the guests’ experience. Managers and salaried employees are not included in the tip pool.

The overall guest experience includes warm and inviting hosts, seating, and directing guests to their experience, servers and bussers providing table service to the dining guests, food runners delivering food to guests, bartenders and barbacks servicing guests at the bars and making drinks for the guests dining in restaurant, line and prep cooks preparing the food and cooking the dishes to be enjoyed by the guests, and dishwashers and porters washing, polishing and maintaining our restaurants and bars in a clean and organized fashion to be enjoyed and experienced by our guests.
